Always back the horse named self-interest, son. It'll be the only one trying
Reinsman Corey Johnson has been dropped as South Australis representative in the Australasian Young Drivers Championship kicking off at Cambridge in NZ next week. Jason Kittel will take his place in the SA colors. The late switch comes as no surprise given that Johnson is the focus of Stewards attention in their investigation into the […]
Things may be crook in Tallarook, but they are absolutely dire in South Australia, at least as far as the trots go anyway. Prizemoney has been slashed by almost half a million dollars in the last year. The cash reserves of the Principal Racing Authority have declined by almost a quarter of a million dollars, […]
A couple of years ago AQWA Constructions was the sponsor of Queensland’s rich 3 and 4-year-old harness race the Rising Sun, and he company’s owner Paul Galvin was a prominent trot owner. Today AQWA is in liquidation owing its creditors $3 million, Galvin is bankrupt, and he is barred from racetracks all around Australia because […]
Dear Peter Re the all conquering Robertson training partnership. Word on the street is they may or may not have had a positive recently. No trainers like them can improve horses like they have without a bit of help in my opinion. Their horses simply just don’t get tired. It reminds me of some of […]

I’ve watched some extremely questionable bidding patterns, particularly involving the Arrowfield sales, and I cannot understand why nobody is looking into it. This isn’t the first time concerns have been raised. During a previous […]
Me thinks his friends should chip in to buy racing.com scribe Trent Masenhelder a calendar for Xmas. At least that way he might know what year it is. I doubt she will be having another run in 2025. Not unless I can too.
The 2 x $25 000 bonused – if won – are as far as we understand it funded by Arrowfield. Bloodstockauction.com.au simply administers the bonus scheme. The sale volume on the Arrowfield horses was about $155 000. Most if not all of the lots in the auction sold for well under the value of their […]
Corrie Knack is current harness race handicapper employed by Racing QLD. A chap by the same name is this week on trial in the Brisbane District Court charged with a criminal offence or offences. We are told that the bloke in the dock is one and the same Corrie Knack who works for RQ. If […]
